2)
Black
Diamond Velvet - We produce health supplements from an elk's
velvet and antler to benefit both pets and humans. Elk Antler Dog
Chews and Black Diamond Dog Health Pills for pets; Black Diamond Velvet
60 as a medicinal supplement for humans.
Each Spring an elk's antler cycle begins
anew and the skin around the pedicle expands and grows, initiating new
antler growth. The hard antler from the previous season is cast off and
the growth of the new season’s velvet crop begins. It is then that the
velvet is harvested for its medicinal and performance qualities. When
the Velvet Elk Antler has been removed, it is allowed to cool on tilted
racks just before being frozen. It is then ready to be processed. If it
is removed at the right time, while still in the cartilaginous state,
almost all of the antler can be used for medicinal purposes.
Elk Velvet Antler contains about 25
different amino acids including all eight of the essential ones:
Trpytophan, Lysine, Mehionine, Valine, Leucine, Isoleucine, Threonine,
and Phenylalanine. Other components of Elk Antler are Cobalt and
Zinc. Cobalt is needed for the creation of enzymes and red blood cells.
Zinc is part of the enzymes involved in digestion and respiration, and
is necessary for normal would healing and maintaining the health of the
skin. |

Elk, or wapiti (Cervus canadensis), is one of
the largest species of deer in the world. In Eurasia the name "elk" is
referencing the moose (Alces alces), not our North American elk.
Bulls have a loud vocalization consisting of screams
known as bugling, which can be heard for miles. Bugling is often associated with
an adaptation to open environments such as parklands, meadows, and savannas,
where sound can travel great distances.
Female elk are attracted to the bull elk that bugle more
often and have the loudest call. Bugling is most common early and
late in the day and is one of the most distinctive sounds in nature, akin to the
howl of the gray wolf.
